*The slots roll down, and land on Jerm*

"Well, I did not see this one coming! But, in any case, I have good news! You guys have one more chance!"
"Oh, didn't I mention before? This is another glorious day... For we have two executions once again! However, the Blackened has so kindly agreed to kill only one of you in exchange! What a wonderful day!"
"As for who else shall die today? It's none other than our friendly neighborhood friend, rose! That's right, you've been inactive for two trials now, slacker. Not even your title is reason enough to escape from this."
"Oh, well, it's time to get on with the show. First, our duel!"
Duel: Jerm
Shortly after tying up Rose, Masuno ascends with Jerm to a platform above the audience. A bow with a full quiver falls down near Jerm, while Masuno's signature spear falls near him. Jerm immediately begins loading an arrow into his bow, and Masuno picks up his spear.
Jerm immediately and skillfully fires off a single arrow, as Masuno throws his spear in Jerm's direction. Masuno then attempts to jerk to the side, but he doesn't manage to dodge completely. Jerm's arrow lodges itself in Masuno's right wing, to which Masuno gives off a cry. Is he getting... weaker? Perhaps, but also perhaps not. In any case, what ever happened to Jerm?
The spear had obviously hit its mark. For Jerm was no longer on the platform, but instead he was on the ground near the others. Masuno's spear had gone right through Jerm's head, and now, the mess that was Jerm's brain was splattered on the ground.
While horror spread once again through the audience, Masuno jumped down near Jerm. He kneeled down, and squeezed Jerm's nose, letting off a comical "HONK!" Masuno shakes his head, with a sigh.
"A shame. I liked this one."
Removing his spear from Jerm's head, Masuno then turned to Rose. He stepped towards her slowly, looking down upon her shortly before speaking.
"It's your turn, slacker."
With that, Masuno jumped into the sky. His wings somehow retained the ability of flight, as they carried him upwards towards the sky. Once he reached the ceiling, he dropped, and pointed his spear towards the ground. Upon the end of his descent, Rose was skewered, all the way through. She lived for a short, pained time afterwords, until the point that Masuno pulled the spear out.
"Well, that's it, for now. The innocents have one last chance to catch the Blackened. Make it count."
And, with that, Masuno left the Trial Room...
About 17 hours until the final Deadly Life is posted. This was posted late, but I'm going to keep to a schedule. The Blackened has until then to send me his final kill. And, the fourth floor has been opened, as well.
